A video shows a man and a woman being beaten cruelly by community members for allegedly encouraging fornication in the neighborhood.
According to certain local Ghanaian news outlets, the lady who was paraded with the male on the forecourt of the Wa Naa's Palace on Tuesday May 31, and beaten up by a mob, had been advertising herself as a commercial sex worker who did hookups.
The young man who appeared in the hook-up video with the lady was also given hot lashes in a video released by TV3.
It was also claimed that Elders in Wa have determined that if they come across any of these movies, they should search for the people who made them and deal with them because such crimes are forbidden in Islam.
